For the United Bamboo show Shiseido The Makeup Artistic Director Dick Page combined pretty, natural skin and lips with a gleaming green and gold eye that was right on the money.
To create the smoldering rich-girl gaze, Page blended gold cream shadow all around the eye, then added brown liner close to the lashline. He then traced over the gold with a dark green shadow, creating a multi-faceted smoky eye that was both dramatic and special.
There were only sixteen girls walking in the show, so Page did the strong brows on each model himself. Skin was fresh with a touch of soft contouring to add warmth, while lips were coated with a pinky beige lipstick for a subtle finishing touch.
To balance out the dramatic eye, hair was kept simple and natural. Shiseido stylist Hirofumi Kera blew hair out straight, then used a large barrel curling iron to delicately curl under the ends of hair. The result was a naturally textured style that was fresh and tidy without looking too perfect or "done." Thanks to the lovelies at DailyMakeover.com for all the deets!
