Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated Populated with Six IMG Models

Since posting this perscriptives video our adolescent fascination with supermodels has returned. When news was delivered to the SPOT inbox that no less than 6 IMG models were populating the pages of the new Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated (on newsstands yesterday) we thought, 'they may not be Claudia, Cindy, Linda, Naomi, Helena, and Shalom but we'll still adore them!' Deets on each girl, below.

With six girls included in the book, more than any other agency and a record for IMG Models, Ivan Bart, Senior Vice President of IMG Models gushed, “We couldn’t be more proud of our line-up of clients in this years Swimsuit Issue. IMG has always been proud of our participation in this career making issue and we congratulate Daniella Sarahyba, Esti Ginzberg, Hilary Rhoda, Jarah Mariano, Jessica Gomes and Tori Pravers on their inclusion.”

Daniella Sarahyba – Brazilian stunner Sarahyba was born into the industry, her mother was a famous model as well. Daniella has been in TV ads for Olympus and print ads for H&M, Gap and Michael Stars. She was recently shot in Rio de Janeiro by Mario Testino for his upcoming shoot.

Esti Ginzberg-Israeli native, Esti has established herself as one of the new “it” girls, having worked with world renown photographers such as Bruce Weber, Blaise and Kenneth Willard and appearing in advertisement campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Burburry, Clarins, among others. As well as a talented singer, she was recently awarded the role as lead actress in the upcoming film, Twelve.

Hilary Rhoda- An All American Girl, Hilary Rhoda is currently the face of Estee Lauder and was recently named one of the highest paid models by Forbes magazine.

Jarah Mariano - American born Mariano’s distinct features can be tribute to her Hawaiian, Korean and Chinese descent. She has been featured in ad campaigns for MAC Cosmetics, Old Navy and A&F as well as in a music video for Jay Z. She will also appear in an upcoming episode of Chuck.

Jessica Gomes – Australian born Gomes is the youngest of four siblings. She has been featured in campaigns for DKNY, Adidas and Old Navy as well as appeared on The Today Show and Project Runway. Her acting career includes not only an appearance in an upcoming episode of Chuck but also is the star of her own Korean TV show titled, My Name is Jessica Gomes.

Tori Praver - Tori Praver, born in California and raised in Hawaii . Noted for her big break as the face of Guess, she has worked with some of the industry’s most renowned photographers, magazines and recently designed her own swimwear line, Tori Praver Swimwear, which is featured in the current issue.

Dancing With The Stars: DIY Looks for Luscious Locks!

ABC’s hit Dancing with the Stars is all about glitz, glamour, and gorgeous hair. The Dancing with the Stars Tour brought cascading curls and super star shine to the lower 48. For an action packed 2 and ½ hour live stage performance, Hair Department Head Russell Latham and Hairstylist Robert Wilson need products with incredible staying power and style memory.

Clean hair was blown dry with a tiny spritz of White Sands Liquid Texture Medium Hold. Before setting with a curling iron, a tiny bit more Liquid Texture Medium Hold was applied, curling the dancers’ tresses in the desired pattern of the night and clipped. Upon returning from makeup, the clippies were removed and hair would be teased at the root. Curls were then fingered out into gorgeous waves, securing the look with White Sands Infinity Hair Spray. As each dancer arrived backstage before the show, White Sands Stuck Up was applied to lock in that hairstyle for the rest of the night.

Michelle Obama's Magazine Covers!

Michelle Obama will be the second First Lady in history to grace the cover of Vogue next month and we could pee our pants we are so excited. (I'm not much on politics but I am enormous on Michelle Obama's fashion.) Seriously, I just put on my new Stila Lip Glaze in Cranberry to celebrate.

Commander-in-fashion-chief Ms. Ana Wintour says, "Change was the clarion call of Barack Obama's election campaign, though I don't think any of us at Vogue initially realized that would include the difference that was going to be made by First Lady Michelle Obama's wardrobe ... It's inspiring to see our first lady so serene and secure in her personal style."
